- The heroes encounter their first real big monster - a vicious owl-bear named "Albert" that had just torn apart the body of an evil cleric - Chaplin - a member of the group of adventures we were chasing.
- Kirk named the members of the other party after comedians : Bailey the fighter, Izzard the Illusionist, Ancona the female elven ranger and Reeves and Mortimer the rogue twins.
