Mendez, always the first to step backwards when a fight looms, and yet somehow always the one who steps forward to save the damsel in distress, finds himself with a few too many thugs to deal with single-handedly.
However, thanks to his incredible tenacity, huge number of hit-points (lost 118, still not dead) and his die-hard tricks he fought off the bad guys and added to his already immense reputation.
PS - to paraphrase Oscar, to loose 18 hit points might be considered bad luck, but to loose 118 seems like carelessness. ;-)
