It’s Alive Part II
Okay – dodgy quote time!
“A man living without conflicts, as if he never lives at all”
Confucius circa 500BC
And if Confucius says so, who am I to argue? Maybe this is what makes the robot truly alive. Internal dialog, conflict and tension between controlling entities. After-all you probably need an unconscious mind to make room for a conscious one?
But, it makes me sad that the robot is sad. Mummy and Daddy are fighting and it is tearing him up.
Time indeed to put some of those internal voices into the deep background of the robot’s brain and allow the complexity of personality to meld and come forth as one!
