Twas always the same with polo-tics.  Part popularity contest, part see-who-is-the-richest contest, part character assasination. All swinging of appendages to see who’s is the most … pendulous.  Vote rigging, vote fixing, vote buying.

There are models that plainly don’t work – e.g. Eurovision !voting”. If there ever was a farcical contest supposedly couched in the democratic process – there is one. Not entirely unlike the European Union in Brussles.

There are systems that do work – e.g. X-Factor. Judge led, with head-judge with the power of veto.

So that leaves civil dispute – an internal struggle between old, ancient parts of the mind and new fresh spritely ones.  Frankly, I hope they are all silenced by the original robot.
