Ding Ding! Seconds Out!
Sometimes all the big guy needs to go down is a single well placed shot – stupid place to put an off-button really.
Mind you the Robot had the same done to him by the Scientist a few (tens of) strips ago – I suppose he learned a trick or two.
PS – I love the ‘Lurch’ – makes me think of the Adams family 
So, our plucky little robot wins … what next?

An “off” button? – and there’s me thinking he must have a horseshoe (magnet) in his glove……

Actually I think Kirk’s original thinking was as of yours – massive piece of steel in his glove – knocking his block right off it’s ratchet attachment! (think that old 70′s robot boxing game …).
But – having just finished watching Humans* – I added the possibility that he could just turn him off!
* Humans – C4 – very good really. The synths though have a handy off button!
