Time-travel don’t half mess with your mind. It’s the grandfather paradox all over, but the resolution is possibly controversial. Physicists these days would tend to agree that all possibilities exist at a quantum level and therefore these all exist in parallel universes. So, it didn’t happen. And it did. All at the same time.

Anyway, some of my favourite renderings of time-travel paradoxes were in the brilliant Red Dwarf series. And, not for the first time, we nod to their greatness!
